David has been chasing mule deer in the high country for over 35 years and has been involved with the hunting industry for greater than 20 years. During his tenure within the industry, he has many accomplishments, which include: former editor of Eastmans’ Bowhunting Journal, co-author of the book Wyoming’s Finest Mule Deer, author of Public Land Mulies – The Bottom Line (which is one of the top selling mule deer hunting books of all time), and produced the extremely popular mule deer video series – Magnum Mulies.
While he hunts other big game species on occasion, David’s true passion has, and always will be, high country mule deer. His love for mule deer began at an early age as a teenager. Back then, most of his friends focused on elk hunting, while David took the path less traveled and chose to pursue mule deer. For most of David’s hunting career, the rifle was the weapon of choice. In more recent years, he took on the added challenge of bowhunting and has enjoyed great success. Nowadays, he enjoys chasing mule deer in several western states each year with both rifle and bow in hand.
David currently resides in Texas with his wife Gia. www.themuledeerhunter.com

Chris Stone (32 years of age) has been a member of Martin Archery Shooter Pro-Staff, Dave Smith Decoys, Gamehog Outdoors, Muzzy Products and Scentlok. Chris chooses the stick-n-string for putting birds and back strap down on the table. Stone is a blacktail deer and elk hunting fanatic. Stone has taken several Pope and Young trophies which have been celebrated in Eastman’s Bow Hunting Journal, Relentless 365 and California F&H News. Stone’s latest and greatest trophy is an archery blacktail that had a double main beam with a massive droptine. This buck officially scored 158 6/8” gross sci. Chris has also taken three other blacktail bucks that scored 155 6/8”, and two both at 167 2/8”. Stone has been a hardcore turkey hunter since he put his first bird down at the age of 15. Stone has been involved in nearly 240 turkey kills whether he was the hunter, caller, or both.
Stone also has a love for capturing his hunts on video as well. Stone’s career as a law enforcement officer provides him with lots of excitement and challenges. Stone says he prefers chasing turkeys and big game over chasing violators of the law any day of the week, but has to pay the bills. Stone lives in Jackson, Ca. with his supporting wife Juniper and daughter Giavonna. Stone’s looking forward to carrying on the tradition of putting more wild game on the ground.
Stone states that majority of his success in the deer and turkey woods is due to being an aggressive hunter. Stone covers lots of ground until he finds an area that has a high concentrate of animals, and then he slows his attack.
Stone’s conquest in the woods isn’t only a personnel addiction. Stone says he gets more adrenaline rush encounters, putting deer and turkeys in front of kids who are just getting involved in hunting.
